FOR SIX LOVE SONGS

Six Love Songsis a choreographic concert, the result of collaboration between music and dance, provoked by the idea of how to visualize failed love. During this concert, we embrace the idea of intimacy, personal psychologies and feelings. We raise questions about poly-relationships and the re-identification of personality in the performance context.

Six Love Songs gives space to a new honest body, a group body, someone who loves the unknown, conflicts and sugar, another who is looking for something else, somewhere else, to you and me. Love potentials that struggle between red, yellow, green and blue.

Like a game. Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. 1.2.3.4.5.6.

Six Love Songs is an artistic production of Zhana Pencheva and Garage Collective, Sofia.

Part of Moving Body Festival 2019, Varna, Bulgaria and selected performance for ACT festival 2019, Sofia, Bulgaria.

The work is selected from TRIZAVISIM 2018 – an initiative of the Guild for Contemporary performing Arts at the Union of artists in Bulgaria.

Six love songs, choreographic concert was born during the artistic residence of the Zhana Pencheva and Tsvetan Momchilov during Moving Body Festival 2018.

Recently, Six Love Songs is one of three nominated performances for IKAR prize 2020, in category “Contemporary dance and performance” of Union of Artistic in Bulgaria .
